Cool start to a new logo

Postby FirstLightAnglers » Wed Oct 21, 2009 5:14 pm

A friend of ours has been working on a new logo. Note the FLA in the fish. Still some work but I like it so far. Derek

Looks like a neat idea!

An artist I'm not, but maybe simply imbedding simpler F L A letters into that logo would make the letters jump out at you. See concept below.

I agree that it needs some clarrification fo the letters. Evening know the original said FLA I needed to look for the letters.

Cool is nice, making sure your brand is front is the most important thing.

I think it's great as is. No need for clarification if "First Light Anglers" is written in conjunction with the image.

I'd capitalize the name to 'link' to the FLA in the logo, and would probably put a little of the color before & after the clearly delineate the letter.

I think its sweet, its one of those things that once you see the FLA in the logo once, youll never not see it

(kinda like the arrow in the fedex logo)

The font is definitely going to be played around with and generally we agree that it is kind of cool that you don't see it initially!! Thanks for the feedback, love to hear more. Derek

Nice logo

Postby bobfishgerald » Sat Dec 12, 2009 7:16 pm

I don't think I would make the letters more apparent in the fish. I think keeping it subtle makes it cooler. I would look at the blue background. I think a little darker, cooler blue would be better. Also I think a different font choice would be interesting to look at.

But very nice! I could see that stuck on the side of my stripping basket, center console, tailgate, etc.

Has there been any progress on the sticker? Definately DO NOT put letters in the graphic. I would love to put one on the back window of my truck.

Got some improvements back from the graphic designer. Should get some stickers and some t-shirts soon.
