Hit the cape this morning . We got up very early to beat the rush hour and the crowd. The bass were hitting at first light and the blue fish were all along the beach front on the south side of the cape . Fish size 3to 6 lb on the blues and the bass 20s to 30 plus inch fish tight lines all morning

Nice work C-man. You hit the usual spot? I should have went this morning.

Ended up on the backside for 3-hours and struggled for one 35" fish and a dink.

See you out there soon.

We just got back from the cape a little while ago . Fishing started at 420 am hoping to hit some keeper bass at first light, no bass tide was very high.We hit our second spot about 5am . Hit my first blue fish on my second cast .All i can say is we had tight lines from 5 to 9 am all blue fish on top water plugs and my brother Mike was also hooking up on the fly rod . What a morning of blue fishing we had. My friend Steve T said to my brothers Billy, it' s days like these we dream about all winter .Nothing i like better than blues hitting top water plugs .We had the beach all to ourselves this morning. tighter lines

Nice!
I really miss those days in the mid-80s when I lived in Gloucester and would go to the breakwater and catch monster blues on any dang thing with hooks on it. You had to learn how to turn those yellow eyed devils to keep them from wrapping around the lobster gear.
Cheers.
